Za’atar Broccoli Steak

Need to add a new green to your diet? Recreate this scene this week with some broccoli and a little spice! Za’atar Broccoli Steaks, anyone?

You, my friend, are going to have to sharpen your steak knives because we’re going to Za’atar up our veggies and we’re digging right in. On a plant-based diet? Or looking for a vegetarian meal or vegan treat? We’ve got you. Just want to eat more veg? We’re proud of you! And we’ve got you too.

This plant-based vegetable steak is super quick and easy to make for lunch or dinner… or anytime in between. Plus, broccoli has been proven to improve all sorts of things in our bodies, and that’s something we can all get behind.

Broccoli is one of the most nutrient-packed vegetables on the planet, and it’s loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It helps protect against cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, and it’s loaded with fiber to help keep your digestive system healthy. Also, broccoli contains sulforaphane, a compound that helps fight inflammation in your body and brain.

Health experts recommend that we eat broccoli at least once a week for its health benefits, and guess who has the perfect recipe for that? 😉

Plain and simple, za’atar is one of the best things you can add to things. Hence why we’re adding it to our broccoli steaks! Za’atar is a Middle Eastern spice blend that adds a lot of flavor to the table. It’s a mixture of thyme, sumac, sesame seeds, and salt. Za’atar makes broccoli, and this broccoli steak, taste even more indulgent than it already is.

Raise your hands if you’re already planning to stock up on more broccoli! If I’m being honest, we’re probably going to do that too. This Za’atar Broccoli Steak tastes too good to eat just once.
