Halvah Pancakes

Make this delicious and easy Halvah pancakes recipe for breakfast that the whole family will enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom, ground
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup plant-based milk

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flours, baking powder, sesame seeds, and cardamom.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, tahini, maple syrup, and milk. Add to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
  3. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat.
  5. Add batter, ~ΒΌ cup at a time to the frying pan, cooking for 3-4 minutes,or until bubbles begin to form.
  6. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Stack & enjoy!
